We all know that No-Limit Texas Hold’em is the biggest poker game in the world today. Nearly every poker site on the market spreads this game. Although the saying goes that NLHE takes “a minute to learn and a lifetime to master”, the fact is that to become a good poker player you’ve got to be well-rounded. We prefer sites that offer a lot more than No-Limit Hold’em. To rank high on this list, a site has to deal with stud and Omaha high as well as the mixed game variants of eights or better. We love Razz, aka stud low, and give extra points to rooms that provide their end-users with that game. We also enjoy seeing some of the less popular or well-known varieties of poker such as Crazy Pineapple, Caribbean Hold’em, Chinese Poker and more. These take us back to some killer home games. Grandma was such a card shark!

We also give high marks to sites that feature a plethora of limits. Micro-limit gaming options for a penny or two up through high stakes tables at $100/$200 (or higher) really get our attention. If a site offers limit, pot limit and no-limit games, we give them their due respect.
