10 Million PokerStars

James Cameron - 10 Aug 2007

Following the crowd can sometimes be a good thing, especially if the crowd is headed for someplace nice. Over the last five or six weeks, online poker room PokerStars has been the destination for record breaking numbers of players, crowds that recently hit 20,000, all coming to play in the Sunday Hundred Grand events. But that isn’t even the loudest ringing endorsement for the site.

Another recent accomplishment of the home to Moneymaker, Raymer and Hachem (and now, Negreanu!) is that they hit the ten million mark. Ten million customers have signed up with the poker rooms since it began. The draw might be the WSOP champs that call the site home. The draw may be the Sunday Hudred Grand and the Sunday Million and the like. Then again, the draw might be the other nine million, nine hundred thousand, ad nauseum players who find the site a safe, fun and profitable place to play.
