20 Shots at Free World Series Of Poker Seat

James Cameron - 16 May 2006

It must really burn all the other online poker rooms out there that the last three World Series of Poker champions are all affiliated with Pokerstars.  In fact, the race to be the sponsor of the next WSOP champion is on in a big way.  Full Tilt will be putting up 100 seats to this years World Series of Poker main event and every one of them will be given away to the winners of 20 different freeroll events.  Remember how amazed everyone was when Chris Moneymaker won $2.5 million for a $40 investment?  And then of course Greg Raymer won his $5 million via an online qualifier.  Even though Australian Joe paid the full entry into the 2005 WSOP, he got to keep every penny of his $7.5 million dollars, thanks to some wonky Australian hobby tax thing.

By this time everyone is going to be so sick of these millionaires and their "look how cheap it was for me to become a millionaire" stories that if the 2006 champ gets in on a freeroll he should probably spend the first of his $10 million estimated prize on security.

But, hey, don't let that stop you from trying -- here are the details from Full Tilt.

• Earn 10,000 Full Tilt Points for that month
If you earn at least 10,000 points in the month, we will put you straight into the Freeroll. And you get to keep the points!
• Be one of our top 50 WSOP point earners for that month
The more WSOP tournaments you play, the more WSOP points you'll earn. Watch our leader board every day to see how you stack up against other Tilters. If you're in the top 50 for the month, you will receive a free ride to the Freeroll. Look for qualifying WSOP tourneys marked in orange.
• Sign up for daily Freerolls
Each day, Freeroll players will satellite into a Weekly Qualifier. The entire final table of the weekly Freeroll qualifier will be automatically entered into our monthly $200,000 WSOP 20 Seat Freeroll. With at least four Weekly Qualifiers every month, you have lots of free opportunities to make it to the Big Dance.
