As part of the ongoing poker client development Betfair Poker have announced a further round of improvements today.
 
New improvements to betfair poker include:

Centralised seating positions – A new central and upper seating position can be selected for those players who multi-table and like to be in a consistent seat across a number of games. To enable this the seat positions on a Heads Up table have changed to be Top and Bottom of a table (rather than left and right). There is an option to turn this on and off though so for those of you who liked things as they were you can choose to suit your preferences.

‘Add Chips’ button – added to the top left hand corner of the table view to simplify the process when you want to bring more chips to the table. You’ll still be able to double click your seat position to do this but for complete simplicity the button will be easily found for all players.

Instant Hand History – A ‘Last Hand’ button can also now be found in the top left hand corner of a table view when playing. This will now offer a text summary of the last hand to be played. Full details of all hand history will still be written to players’ Program Files.

Observer mute – Betfair Poker report aa great response to the Observer Chat functionality but sometimes you just want to be left to concentrate on the cards. So choose mute from the Control Panel when the railbirds are getting a little too carried away!

Additional lobby filtering – to ensure you can find your game even more efficiently. For Cash, Sit and Go and MTT you’ll now be offered more detailed filtering options which will be remembered for the next time you log in.

Default sort changed to Stake size – The final improvement affecting the Poker Lobby is to change the default sort field to Stake Size.

Quicker Lobby refresh speed – Coupled with the improved Lobby filtering this will also help our players find their game more quickly as we have reduced the lobby information update to just 20 seconds.
