Abby17 Defeats Arieh in his Own Dojo

Crystalynn Harris - 28 Mar 2008

Josh Arieh, fresh off his win at the PLO tournament at the Wynn Classic and a third-place finish in the Bodog Poker Open, had a bounty on his head Tuesday night at Bodog’s weekly Blogger Tournament Series. The event, which has a buy-in of $10, gives points to the top 30% of finishers. Over the course of the series, which ends on June 3, 2008, players will rack up the points (and earn cash based on the prize pool according to Bodog’s standard payout percentages).

The top 18 point getters at the end of the series, according to the leaderboard located at Bodog Poker, will get an invite to the Final Event on June 10, 2008.
The prize – a $12,000 prize package to the WSOP Main Event!

Now…Arieh played this past Tuesday and had a $100 bounty on his head. You now 52 poker bloggers who signed on to play were gunning for him, right? Well, they were. One was victorious in her quest to claim Arieh’s carcass. Abby17 took him out of the competition early. Yup, she clipped his wings in 47th place.

Abby17 carried Josh’s remaining chips all the way to 3rd place, earning $62.40 and a tournament entry valued at T$109 for entry into events such as the Weekly $100,000 Guaranteed.
