Late Night Poker is a unique, televised tournament series. The show, which was credited with revolutionizing the game with the usage of lipstick cameras under the table showcasing a player’s hole cards, begins filming its next installment on October 23, 2007 in the United Kingdom. The series will air at the beginning of 2008.
The special tournament will be played in seven heats, featuring seven players each. The winner of those heats goes directly to the finale. The runners-up move onto the semi-finals. The top finisher in that semi-final, moves onto the finale. That final table has a total of eight players.
Pros such as Annette Obrestad, the 2007 WSOP Europe Main Event champ, David “Devilfish” Ulliott, Donnacha O’Dea, Roy “The Boy” Brindley and Roland de Wolfe will be among the pros featured in the tournament series. Joining them are ten online qualifiers from PartyPoker.net.
