Vanessa Rousso is currently touring her homestate of Florida as part of a seven-stop, three-casino poker instruction camp called “The Art of Poker.” On each stop, Rousso, who recently finished second to Huck Seed at the 2009 NBC Heads-Up Championship, will teach about Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and how it applies to the game of poker.
The tour, which began on March 20th at the Jacksonville Orange Park Kennel Club, ends at the same location on Sunday April 26th. She debuts her “The Art of Poker – An Intro to Game Theory and Poker” on April 5th at the Isle Casino in Palm Beach, Florida.
Vanessa, 26, says that “my biggest passion outside of playing poker is in teaching poker strategy.” She loves “watching that light bulb go off in [my] students’ minds when they discover something new.”
