The first Finnish member Team PokerStars is Ville Wahlbeck.
Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso and Joe Cada have some company now that Ville Wahlbeck has joined the team at PokerStars. Wahlbeck will make his first foray into the public eye as a PokerStars pro at the PokerStars Baltic Festival in Tallinn, Estonia later this month.
Wahlbeck was there last year, when he won the Festival's High Roller Event.
The 34-year-old is not only the first Finnish player to sign with PokerStars he’s the first to earn a World Series Of Poker bracelet, which he did last year when he won the $10,000 Mixed Game Event. This year’s PokerStars Nordic Poker Awards granted him further honors with the titles of "Best Live Tournament Player" and "Best Performance".
