189 players took to the felt on Day 5 at the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event. A total of 110 players fell during the day including Hoyt Corkins, Gus Hansen, Allen Cunningham, Jeff Madsen, Shawn Sheikhan and Alexander Kostritsyn. Each of these players was guaranteed $38,600.

As the Day drew to a close around 11.30 pm, Matt Matros, Mike Matusow, Jim McManus, Victor Ramdin, Phil Hellmuth, Alex Outhred and chip leaders Mark Ketteringham, Nikolay Losev, Albert Kim and Tiffany Michelle were gearing up for the next day of play.

Even though it’s too late to qualify for the 2008 WSOP in Las Vegas, with Betfair Poker, there’s plenty of time to get to the World Series of Poker in Europe. Check this article out for more information!
