Celebrities like actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will attend the 2010 WSOP Ante Up for Africa event.
The 2010 WSOP Ante Up for Africa is the latest in the institution started by Don Cheadle and Annie Duke to raise money for Darfur and other trouble spots in Africa, and this year’s events will be attended by plenty of high profile celebrities, sports figure and poker pros.
On Saturday, July 3rd, the annual World Series of Poker Ante Up for Africa will be held at the Rio in Las Vegas with actors Ray Romano and Brad Garrett playing. Garrett is known for his fondness for poker, and Romano took eighth in the 2008 Ante Up for Africa tournament.
Hank Azaria, basketball pros Tracy McGrady and Kenny Smith, and poker pros Howard Lederer, Erik Seidel, Phil Gordon, Andy Bloch, Chris Ferguson, and Phil Hellmuth, will all play as well.
