The first "Stimulus Special" of the 2010 WSOP won by Canadian Aadam Daya
Last year the $1,000 bracelet event at the World Series of Poker picked up a clever nickname – the “Stimulus Special”, a nod to the tough economic times facing everyone at the time. It was such a big success that this year no less than SEVEN $1,000 events were included on the WSOP docket, and the first one has been tucked away with a victory by Aadam Daya.
Daya is a business analyst from Canada who analyzed his way from a $1k buy in to a $625,872 payday.
Event 3 sported a field of 4,345 and a prize pool of $3,910,500. 441 players made the money.
