TULSA, Okla. – The weekend’s rowdiest poker tournament this side of the Rio Grande, the Wild Wild West poker tournament, kicked off at Cherokee Casino Resort Thursday. The tournament, running Aug. 7-10, featured a Jack & Jill No Limit Hold ‘em event its first night, and continues through the weekend with two No Limit Hold ‘em tournaments at high noon and 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Buy-ins range from $150 to $550.
Travis Baker and Dana Barnes won the Jack & Jill event in Cherokee Casino Resort’s Wild Wild West poker tournament bringing home $3,028. They defeated 89 other couples, each of whom paid the $150 entry fee, generating a total prize pool of $10,350.
