Wild Wild West Poker Tournament at Cherokee Casino Resort- Day 2 results

TULSA, Okla. - Cherokee Casino Resort is currently holding the weekend's rowdiest poker tournament this side of the Rio Grande, the Wild Wild West poker tournament. The tournament, running Aug. 7-10, featured a Jack & Jill No Limit Hold 'em event its first night, and continues through the weekend with two No Limit Hold 'em tournaments at high noon and 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Buy-ins range from $150 to $550.

Day 2 - Event No. 1 - No Limit Hold 'em

Day two's first event attracted a field of 87 players for a No Limit Hold 'em tournament. Buy-in was $300+$40. Contender John Balmas of Monett, Missouri, laid down the final hand and took home $7,821. The total prize pool was $25,230.

The second event of day two, No Limit Hold 'em, required a $200+$30 buy-in, which created a $22,990 prize pool. In the end, John Standridge of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, took home $7,127. The event attracted 121 total players.
