TULSA, OK –  Steve Bennewith of Oklahoma City, OK, wins the 6pm, $300+40 H.O.R.S.E. Championship event Wednesday, February 20, during the “Oklahoma State Championship of Poker” at the Cherokee Casino, in Tulsa. This is his first major recorded tournament but says he’s been playing poker for over 20 years.

The players decided on an even money chop when they were down to eight. They all took $4,220 and played the tournament out for the title, seat, and championship ring.

Steve ended the game when he was heads up with Robin Farley. She got her chips all in on the second round of betting in the seven-stud round.
