The 2007 Caribbean Poker Classic was held at the St. Kitts Mariott Resort & Royal Beach Casino from November 30 to December 2, 2007. The No-Limit Hold’em Main Event had a $6,000 + $300 buy-in and attracted 153 players from all over the world. With $1,000,000 prize pool, the tournament was definitely a big draw.
After a grueling heads-up match with Romanian poker player Mihai Manole in which Denmark’s Brian Jensen eeked out the victory. On the final hand, Jensen caught a flush on the river to take the title, the first place prize of $237,500 and a seat to the EPT 4 Grand Final in Monte Carlo in April 2008.

Sun Poker was the biggest winner of the CPC 2007 as both Manole and Jensen play professionally under their banner.
