TULSA, OK – Courtney Farrell and Zack Hendrix of Norman, OK, reclaimed the title in the 6pm, $200 Jack and Jill No-Limit Hold’em event Thursday, February 14, during the “Oklahoma State Championship of Poker” at the Cherokee Casino, in Tulsa. They cashed for $5,741. “We’re really happy it worked out this way,” explained the repeat champions. “It’s been an unforgettable Valentine’s Day!”
This is the second Oklahoma State Championship of Poker that the couple has won. They are returning champions from last year’s Jack and Jill event setting the record as the first repeat title holders.
The Oklahoma State Championship of Poker, February 14-26, offers a variety of games and buy-ins. Along with the prestigious title of Oklahoma State Champion, large prize pools and a championship ring for the winners keep the crowds ready for action. The Championship Main Event is set for February 24 and has a $3,150 buy-in.
