After two hectic days of poker, Dwyte Pilgrim emerged from the back of the pack to take the chip lead, the title and his second title and first Main Event this circuit season at the WSOPC Rincon tournament. (Pilgrim’s first title was at a preliminary event in Atlantic City.) The poker player received $125,775 for his near-Herculean effort.
He eliminated former chip leader, Esther Taylor, who would’ve been the first woman to win a WSOPC title, heads-up.
