European Deep Stack Poker Championship odds

Blue Square has released the betting markets for the European Deep Stack Poker Championship taking place in the Drogheda Poker Club, Drogheda, Ireland from Feb. 2-10, 2008, with recent EPT Baden and GUKPT winner Julian Thew firm favourite at 40/1.

The in-form Thew is followed in the market by recent EPT Prague winner Arnaud Mattern at 50/1 while recent Poker Millions winner Joe Beevers is also a 50/1 shot and last year’s winner Jen Mason is 66/1.

Blue Square will also take each-way bets on nine places at 1/8 odds. The market for the main even closes on Feb. 6 at 7.00 p.m. The €1,500 main event, which starts on Feb. 6, sees players begin with €50,000 in chips and a one hour clock.
