The GUKPT Champion of Champions tournament sponsored by Blue Square Poker is an exclusive £75,000 no limit Hold’em event that will take place in December 2008

Seats in the free to enter tournament will be restricted to winners of GUKPT events in 2008, including main events, side events and even online events. The number of starting chips each player receives will vary, depending on the size of the event won, with the most chips being awarded to the winner of the Grand Final. With every participant being a GUKPT champion, it promises to be a very competitive tournament and a high quality field. The winner will be crowned the GUKPT Champion of Champions and will be the envy of everyone on the British poker circuit.

How to qualify
Players can qualify for the Champion of Champions event in one of the following ways:

1. By winning any scheduled live GUKPT festival event with a buy in of £100 or greater (satellites not included).
2. By winning any scheduled event in July’s online GUKPT festival with a buy in of $100 or greater.
3. By winning the GUKPT Link event (details are yet to be announced).
4. By winning the GUKPT Grand Prix (details are yet to be announced).
5. By winning one of the monthly online GUKPT leagues taking place from January – November 2008 on Blue Square Poker

Starting Chips
The number of starting chips each player receives will vary, depending on the qualifying event won. Players who win more than one event will receive the aggregate number of chips from the events won, to a maximum of 25,000 chips per player.

The number of chips awarded per event won is as follows:
