The GUKPT tour is currently taking a summer vacation, but the action gets underway again next month when the first ever online GUKPT festival takes place on Blue Square Poker from July 21st -25th. It features five events, with a total of $20,000 being added to the prize pools by the tour sponsor. It kicks off on Monday 21st of July with a $200 NL hold’em freezeout and concludes with the $500 NL hold’em main event on Friday 25th July. All five tournaments feature similar blinds structures to the live GUKPT events and have generous starting stacks.

As per the live tournaments on the tour, the winners of each of the five online events will also bag seats in the much anticipated Champion of Champion’s tournament, which will take place at the G casino in Luton this December. The winner of the main event will also win a free seat into the tour’s £3,000 Grand Final. GUKPT ranking points are up for grabs for all players who make final tables during the festival. Nik Persaud, who currently tops the tour’s leader board, is expected to play in most of the events and will be looking to extend his lead even further.

Players can qualify for the online festival through a variety of daily and weekly satellites on Blue Square Poker.
