Paddypowerpoker has announced the full timetable for the 2008 Irish Open including start times for all festival events. The Super Satellite to the Main Event will be the very first event of the festival and will take place at 6pm on Wednesday 19th March.
The €3 Million Guaranteed Main Event itself, which has a capacity for 1,000 players, will be split over 2 Day 1s.
Day 1A will take place on Thursday 20th March with Day 1B starting on Good Friday, 21st March.
Both Day 1s will begin at 2pm sharp and players are advised to arrive early as registration will close at 12 noon. Each subsequent day of the Main Event will also have a 2pm start, including the final day which will see the champion crowned on Easter Monday.
The minimum payout for first place in this €4,500 buy-in event will be €800,000.
Start times have also been confirmed for all Side Events at the Irish Open. There will be early evening starts for the inaugural Irish Open Ladies event, the €1,500 No Limit Holdem Freezeout and the Pot Limit Omaha Rebuy, with the final event, the Double Chance Scalp, starting a little earlier at 3pm on Easter Monday

The blind structure for the €3 Million Guaranteed Main Event has also been confirmed and will feature additional levels from last year giving even more play to the competitors. The starting stack will be 10,000 chips and the blinds will increase every 60 minutes.
