yesteday announced details of Irish Poker Open 2007, Irelands largest poker tournament and Europe's most historic.
Building on the success of the Irish Open 2006, paddypowerpoker.com has doubled the guaranteed prize pool to €2 million making it not only one of Europe's richest tournaments but also its largest in terms of players – this year's capacity will be 800 with players being split into groups of up to 400 for 'two' day ones.
The buy in is €3,300 with a €200 registration fee.
The event will take place in Dublin over Easter Weekend 2007 and to celebrate the launch Paddypowerpoker.com is holding a freeroll at 9pm (BST) on Thursday 24th August 2006.
