The 2009 Irish Poker Open is shaping up quite nicely. In addition to the €3,200 + €300 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event, the festival, which is one of Europe’s biggest and longest running tournaments, will also feature a two-day €1,500 + €150 No-Limit Hold’em freezeout and a Pot Limit Omaha €300 + €30 rebuy tournament.
The Ladies NLHE championship will return for a second year in a row and a charity tournament has been put on the roster. The €300 + €30 No-Limit competition will give €100 + €30 from the buy-in to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Dublin.
The 2009 Irish Poker Open will take place from March 19 – 24, 2009 at the CityWest Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. More information on the event can be found at irishpokeropen.com.
