Kyllonen Kills at EPT Copenhagen

462 players took to the felt for a total of five days at the European Poker Tour, generating a tasty first place prize of €878,057. Some of the world’s best talent played in the event including Gus “The Great Dane” Hansen, Annette Obrestad and Dario Minieri.

However, by the time the final table was set, none of them remained. Norway’s ledgendary Anders Langset held the chip lead going into the match with Rasmus Nielsen breathing down his neck. Nielsen was KOd by the Norwegian in sixth place, receiving €142,870 for his efforts.

Langset, for his part, was fell to the eventual champion, Jens Kyllonen, in third place. Kyllonen walked into heads-up play with an advantage. The 19 year old Finnish player won his first major title with pocket jacks.
