As the final table of the $1,500 NLHE tournament got underway at the 2008 World Series of Poker, LA based cash game player Jose Luis Velador had a massive chip lead. At one point, he had nearly 2/3 the chips in play. During heads-up play against Anthony Signore of Boynton Beach, Florida, Velador watched as his chip lead almost slipped away. However, he quickly recovered his bearings and went on to win the match.
