Medic and Coren Join Party Poker Premier League III

Deanna Goodson - 13 Nov 2008

Serbian-Canadian poker player Nenad Medic is in his mid-20s and well on his way to becoming a poker legend. The 24 year old poker superstar (he turns 25 on December 21st) already has a World Series of Poker bracelet and a World Poker Tour title and has made numerous final tables on the circuit. The former college basketball player, who uses the online handle Serb212, has been invited to take part in the PartyPoker Premiere League III tournament series when it hits Old Blighty later this month.

Joining Medic, the 2008 WSOP $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha World Champion, is Victoria Coren. The popular TV presenter and columnist for the UK’s newspaper The Guardian, Coren is also the only female to win a European Poker Tour title. She took down the London Open in 2006 at the Victoria Casino and has had some success in the Party Poker’s Premiere League, making the final table in the first series and near-missing a repeat in the second.

Also set to appear in the third installment of the Premiere League when it begins its run in London from the 24th to the 30th November are Juha Helppi, JC Tran, Roland de Wolfe, 2007 WSOPE Main Event champion Annette Obrestad and defending champion Andy Black.

Qualifiers for PartyPoker.net’s Big Deal, a $2 million GTD tournament to be held on 30th November are going on now. Visit PartyPoker now!
