The Asian Poker Tour will make its first stop in Manila, the capital of the Philippines from May 27 – June 1, 2008. An estimated 400 players are expected to put up the $2,500 buy-in for the Main Event of this No-Limit Hold’em competition with the guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000.
PartyPoker wants to send eleven of its players to the APT Manila Main Event. They’re holding twice-weekly satellites for $300 + $20 with a $6,000 prize package awarded for every 20 players in these events. This includes the buy-in, $2,500 in spending money AND a seven night stay in the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel.
Party Poker is also offering daily qualifiers to this satellite for $35 as well as two options to get into that qualifier for either $1 or $4.
