Team Aced Wins Dream Team Poker Tournament

Jamie Gold and his Team Aced won the Dream Team Poker Tournament, claiming the $59,000 top prize.

Team Aced, which includes former WSOP Main Event champion Jamie Gold (2006), Ashley Nataupsky and Houston Waldie, took down the Dream Team Poker title. This is thanks to Nataupsky’s 4th place and Gold’s 9th place finish. The trio won $59,000 for their first place showing.

Danny Nelson won the individual event and $13,000.

This tournament was the first Dream Team event open to the public. 148 teams (444 players) paid the $1,500 to enter the event, driving up the prize pool to $222,000. Teams got the lion’s share of the prize pool at $133,200 while individuals fought it out over the remaining $88,000.
