One poker pro not afraid of speaking his mind is Tony G, and his current thoughts are about bailing on the 2010 WSOP.
Antanas Guoga is known the poker world over as Tony G, a very nice guy who can act quite the opposite at the table; he has said in interviews that he just gets carried away during the game. He’s had a barrelful of accomplishments in the poker world, at both the game on the table and on the business side, but the one thing he has yet to accomplish is to win a WSOP bracelet.
With a disappointing performance so far he is considering cutting his losses and perhaps trying again next year.
“Busting is such an ugly thing…I have a bit of burnout going on and I’m running bad,” runs a comment from Tony on his blog. “Three different times in the 5K I was good pre-flop and ran into bad endings that killed me…I am no longer having fun, it’s time to do something else and that will be leaving for home.”
While it sounds final there is a chance he may remain in Las Vegas and play the main event.
