The WPS Ocean World is the jewel in the crown of the World Poker Showdown tournament circuit. Last held at the Ocean World Casino Resort in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic in May of 2008, the next event is scheduled for January 16 – 25, 2009. The WPS prides itself on providing “fun, affordable poker tournaments in exciting locations.”
