The European Poker Tour heads back to France (Deauville) from January 20 – 24, 2009. The mini-series takes place at the Casino Barriere de Deauville. Event sponsor PokerStars was just one of the online sites to hold qualifiers to this prestigious event, which returns to the EPT after a two-year hiatus.
Previous EPT Deauville champs include Brandon Schaefer. A slew of Poker Stars pros such as Katja Thater, Isabelle Mercier and Noah Boeken (pictured at right) are expected to appear at the event.
Here is the schedule:
#1 EPT Main Event – Tues., January 20 – Sat., January 24: buy-in $6,296 + $378 (USD). Tourney begins on Day 1 at 9 am EST.
#2 No Limit Hold’em - Thurs., January 22 – Fri., January 23: buy-in $640 + $77 (USD) with a single rebuy. Tourney begins at 5 pm EST.
#3 No Limit Hold’em – Fri., January 23 – Sat., January 24: buy-in $2,558 + $256 (USD). Tourney begins at 3 pm EST.
#4 High Roller Deep Stack - Fri., January 23 – Sat., January 24: buy-in $25,584 + $384 (USD). Tourney begins at 11 am EST.
