WPT plans events in Barcelona and Cyprus.
The World Poker Tour continues to expand its European brand. The WPT will stop in Barcelona on June 24 – 30, 2009 at the Casino Barcelona. They are also planning to host an event for the first time ever in Cyprus this September.
The Barcelona event has a buy-in of €5,000 + €300.
The Cyprus tournament, according to the Merit Casino web site, will take place from September 4 – 12, 2009 and features a buy-in of $10,000 + $300.
This news follows information that the WPT will host an event in Venice this May and one in Morocco in October.
