Event #5 at the Full Tilt Online Poker Series was held on Friday May 8, 2008 at 21.00 ET. Esther Rossi took to the virtual felt as hostess of the event, a $216 buy-in Stud 8/b tournament. 508 entrants drove the prize pool up to $101,600 with more than $24,000 going to the eventual winner, 67ofspades.
Full Tilt Pros did very well in the event with Gavin Smith and the hostess herself Esther Rossi narrowly missing the final table. The duo finished in 13th and 12th places respectively. Jon “Pearljammed” Turner, however, made it all the way to three-handed play before being eliminated. He took down $11,176 for his efforts.
