Huck Seed hosted the $535 Heads-up event at Full Tilt last Saturday (November 16, 2008). 897 players, most of them as famous as the former WSOP Main Event champion himself, took to the virtual felt for the tournament with 128 making bank including former WSOPE Main Event champion Annette “Annette_15” Obrestad and WPT champ Eugene “myrabbifoo” Katchalov among others.

The final heads-up match-up took place between two online titans Greg “DuckU” Hobson and mendieta19. Dobson took an early lead in the match and never relinquished it, earning the gold avatar and the $87,000 first place prize.

2008 WSOP final table mate Craig Marquis presided over the $2,000 + $500 High Roller event, a 2-day tourney the drew in 500 players and guaranteed $2 million dollars. Each table had a maximum of 6 players. Kristy Gazes, David “The Dragon” Pham, the event host Craig Marquis and Brandon Adams made bank in the event, representing Full Tilt.

Runner-up to the 2008 World Poker Tour Legends of Poker Tour title, Amit “amak316” Makhija entered the second day as the chip leader. He left it as the champion, defeating KaKeTKa heads-up and winning $550,000.

Dario Alioto, a WSOPE bracelet holder from 2007 in Pot Limit Hold’em, took to the virtual felt as the host of the $109 PLO w/rebuys competition this past weekend at Full Tilt Poker. 962 players were in attendance for the tourney. They re-bought 2,076 times and added-on 546 times more, falling short of the $400,000 guarantee. However a grand time was had by all including Full Tilt professional players Stuart Paterson and Sandra Naujoks, each of whom earned some cash in the tourney.

Representing for the online community were former FTOPS leaderboard winner GetPWN3D (80th - $800), CrazyZachary (63rd - $880), CapTinBisKuit (51st - $1,080) and CrystalBalla (18th - $2,000). Making the final table was Marco “CrazyMarco” Johnson. He succumbed in sixth position, receiving $18,000 for his efforts.

In the end, Antoshka took out MissOldy heads-up despite going into the match-up with a nearly two to one chip deficit.
