Erick Lindgren has accomplished a great deal in his tournament career. The winner of two WPT championships, Lindgren was the World Poker Tour’s player of the year in 2004. In 2006, he cashed in four WSOP events. However, “EDOG” is just as comfortable online as he is in live action games. A Full Tilt sponsored pro, Lindgren has cashed in multiple FTOPS events so he was expected to do well.
On Sunday, Lindgren played host for the $300 + 22 NLHE $1 Million Guaranteed Event. Although the tournament didn’t break any attendance records, it did draw in 5,637 players creating a generous prize pool of $1,691,000.
At the end of the tournament, Lindgren had accomplished something no other Full Tilt Poker pro has. EDOG was the last person standing in his very own event. The host took home the most cash in this tourney – nearly $300,000 to be exact.
