Online Poker Weekend – Results from January 6, 2008

Serena DaSilva - 8 Jan 2008

On Sunday January 6, 2008 PokerStars saw 7,104 entrants at the Sunday Million. The prize pool was a whooping $1,420,800. This is the biggest turnout the event has had since well before the holiday season. One would’ve thought that the PokerStars’ Caribbean Adventure would’ve lessened the number of entrants in the event considering the online poker room sent a bunch of online qualifiers to the tournament going on now. However, people were logging into their laptops while sitting in paradise at the Atlantis Resort & Casino. One such player, mkind0516, made it all the way to fifth place.

In the end, it was mister cc and giorango. The final two agreed to a deal before giorango took down the title and over $150,000.
