On Sunday March 16, 2008 Jennifer Harman, one of the most fearsome high stakes and tournament poker players in the world today, will hold a special $10 buy-in NLHE tournament at her online home, Full Tilt Poker. The tourney will feature some world-class celebs and poker pros such as fellow FTP pros Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Kristy Gazes, Andy Bloch and former Maxim covergirl Clonie Gowen.
Beginning at 9pm ET on Sunday March 16th – the day before St. Paddy’s Day celebrations get underway – you can play against these stars and help benefit the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA). 50% of the proceeds from the tourney will help animals in need, a cause that is close to Harman’s heart.
The NSPCA is a nonprofit organization that promotes humane education and also provides referrals to the public for lower cost spay/neuter services. They have a no-kill sanctuary that fights to save animals from extinction.
Also joining Harman-Traniello and the FTP crew are X-treme sports icons Jim Button, Jeff Brushie and Kris Swierz.
