After iamhiv bid his table mates adieu in sixth position, the final five got together and talked chop. Based on chip counts, each would six figures with $30,000 left for the ultimate winner. Soon after pealjam1012, who announced he’d be donating 10% of his earnings to the Canadian Cancer Society, hit the rails with $112,297 to show for his efforts.
As heads-up play began Matt “plattsburgh” Vengrin had a 17 million to 14 million chip lead over KipsterDK. However, KipsterDK took over the chip lead and held on to it. On the final hand, plattsburgh’s pocket nines were crushed by the ten on the flop that netted KipsterDK the bigger pair and…the title.
