Poker Stars Sunday Million – ckingusc Wins Event on March 22, 2009

On March 22, 2009 the Sunday Million at Poker Stars went back to its regular time. For the past few weeks, it was delayed due to Daylight Savings Time. 7,906 people paid to play in the tournament bringing the prize pool up to $1,581,200, more than meeting the $1.5 million guarantee.

Players rapidly hit the rails and in no time (for an internet event of this magnitude) the bubble was reached. Bushman was the unfortunate bubble boy in 1171st place. Bakaunko would later bubble the final table, leaving the competition in tenth place and setting the stage for an historic win.
