Sitting pretty at the final table was online professional Soren “Kongsgaard” Kongsgaard. Kongsgaard, who hails from Denmark and won the Danish Poker Championship in September 2007, has also taken down a Full Tilt Sunday $1,000,000 tournament on October 10, 2007. The talented pro has earned more than $750,000 online and he’s not even old enough to play in the World Series of Poker yet.
However, before Sunday, Kongsgaard had never won this event. He made it to heads-up play against swishes2000 and raked in the last pot, staking his claim to the title and the $158,555 first prize.
