PokerStars Announces Spring Online Tournament Series

Serena DaSilva - 12 Dec 2008

There’s not a lot of information out there yet, but one thing’s clear – Poker Stars is going to hold a Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) sometime in early 2009. (Well, the name might even be subject to change.) Apparently a Main Event with a $1,525 buy-in is planned. The series will obviously be scaled down from the World Championships of Online Poker (WCOOP) that PokerStars holds each September.

More info will be released soon.

In the interim, you can practice your game for free at Poker Stars…they have multiple daily freerolls in a variety of different poker disciplines including Razz and Omaha!
