Deanna Goodson Takes Turkey Title on TPT

On Thursday November 27, 2008 18 die-hard poker players took to the virtual felt at Full Tilt Poker. Each paid $5.50 to play in the Twitter Poker Tour. In the end, only one player remained…our editor, Deanna Goodson.

Deanna, who plays at Full Tilt under the username “panndyra”, took down the event after several hours of what she calls “high level and high octane play. The players on the Twitter Poker Tour are no joke.”

Deanna, who busted out at the 2007 WSOP Ladies Main Event within the first hour, a fact we here at Tourneyblog have never let her live down, continued, “This is a tough field, and I’m amazed that I was able to come out on top. It’s one of the highlights of my poker-playing career so far.”

Next up on the Twitter Poker Tour is a $5.50 No Limit Hold’em competition at Poker Stars this Thursday, December 4, 2008.
