Nut low for deuce to seven triple draw
PokerStars mixed things up at this year’s WCOOP with an eight-game tournament in the eighth event of the 2008 series, held on September 8th. 1,128 players entered the tourney, generating a prize pool of $338,400.
The games they would play included:
- Deuce to Seven Triple Draw
- Limit Hold’em
- Omaha 8/b
- Razz
- Seven Card Stud
- Seven Card Stud 8/b
- NLHE
- Pot Limit Omaha
The winner of the event would earn, in addition to a coveted WCOOP bracelet and more than $50,000, much respect in the poker world. Why? It takes a lot of poker skill to master all of these games in a field such as this.
The final two agreed to a deal in honor of their significant achievement. Seitz33 and Ulett_23 agreed to evenly split $46,797 with $4,000 left for the winner. During a round of deuce-to-seven-triple draw, Ulett_23 won the day with an 8-low vs. the 10-low Seitz held.
Here are the final results:
1) Ulett_23 - $50,797.28
2) Seitz333 - $46,797.28
3) Booster_JJ - $30,456.00
4) osten - $23,688.00
5) SC72A - $17,766.00
6) Andrejkovics - $11,844.00
There’s still time to qualify for the WCOOP if you chose. There are plenty of remaining events including a $3,000,000 GTD NLHE tournament on Sunday September 14, 2008. Visit Poker Stars now for more information!
