David Singer, winner of the Full Tilt Poker $25,000 Heads-Up Championship, was in attendance for the $1,060 buy-in, $1.5 million GTD NL Hold’em Tournament on Monday November 10, 2008. The festivities began at 21.00 ET and a total of 1,469 players entered the event, 162 of these would receive at least $1800 for their efforts.
Red Full Tilt pros Bruce Buffer, Huckleberry Seed, Eddy Scharf, Jon “PearlJammed” Turner and Dag “dmmikkel” Mikkelsen represented for the online poker room. Online stalwarts such as GBecks, jallajalla12, DeuceBuster and CaptinBiskuit were also in the house, racking up the earnings.
The last two players standing were agriffod and RHINOWNED. Both were assured more than $200,000 paydays. When the last chips were counted, it was agriffod who had the advantage and the title.
