David Oppenheim, who had a brief cameo in the poker flick, Lucky You, starring Drew Barrymore and Eric Bana, held court on Saturday August 9, 2008 at 16.30 pm ET. He presided over the $109 NLHE re-buy tournament. 1,961 people paid to play in the event bringing the $500,000 prize pool up to an impressive $621,100.

About 190 players earned money in the tournament including Scott Clements, who has been having a fantastic series thus far, and Jon “PearlJammed” Turner. Turner took the 23rd slot, which was the highest finish of any of the FTP pros.  bizzleraises inched MrHolywood out of the top spot, winning the heads-up match and claiming the title in this event, the seventh in the FTOPS IX.
