Cyndy Violette has a World Series of Poker bracelet in Seven Card Stud Hi-Low. She earned that in 2004. The bubbly blonde, who is a new and welcome addition to the Full Tilt team of pros, played hostess at the 5th event of the FTOPS IX on Friday August 8, 2008 at 9pm ET. The $216 Stud tournament had a guarantee of $100,000 and the 581 entrants who paid their way to play in the tourney lifted that guarantee up to $116,200.

64 players made bank in the event including author turned poker blogger and player Michael Craig. Craig, who is still perhaps best known for his book The Professor, the Banker and The Suicide King, which goes into detail about Texas billionaire businessman Andy Beal’s high stakes games with some of poker’s biggest names such as Howard Lederer and Doyle Brunson, took the 39th slot and $627.48 for his efforts. chicha62, who was the runner-up to Teledonk in event #2 of this series, finished in 60th place here, adding $488.04 to her bankroll.

In the end, dread noughts defeated FellKnight in heads-up play to take down the $26,946.78 reward for the top prize and the title.
