Chris “Jesus” Ferguson has earned just about every poker accolade in the world. He’s a fitting host for the $500 + 35 NL Hold’em Main Event, which was held on Sunday August 17th at 18.00 ET. 4,880 players took to the virtual felt for the tournament, which had a guarantee of $2.5 million.
648 players made money in the event including Keith Sexton, David Benyamine and Kelly Kim. Kim, one of the November Nine, a final tablist at this year’s delayed WSOP Main Event, and newcomer to Full Tilt Poker, finished in 16th place and earned $12,375.00.
The final five players earned six figures in the tournament, which was one of the richest of the twenty-five events in the ninth installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series. The final two players were valleyho and dubbeemin. dubbeemin toppled valleyho in the heads-up match-up and won the biggest prize of the weekend with more than $432,400.
