Poker Stars Sunday Million Results from 11.16.08

7,999 players entered the Sunday Million at PokerStars on November 16, 2008 exceeding the $1.5 million prize pool guarantee by nearly $100,000 with nearly $200,000 being set aside for the top spot. Several of Poker Stars’ pros made bank in the tournament including Barry Greenstein, Steve-Paul Ambrose and Daniel Negreanu.

Online pro Jim “Mr_BigQueso” Collopy held the chip lead at the final table for a while. That is until he sent his chips kesher79’s way. kesher79 held a pair of aces and took Collopy out in fifth place. The ‘Big Cheese’ collected a hunk of cash for his efforts, however.

kesher went on to win the match, receiving the entire $195,976 after defeating rS.Wisdom in heads-up play.
