Andrew Wiggins, a member of Team Cardrunnners, a relatively new addition to Full Tilt’s professional roster, took the reins for the third event of the FTOPS X, a 3x NLHE Shootout. In this tournament, which was held on Thursday November 6th, 2008, the champ would have to defeat three tables in their entirety. A grand total of 729 players entered the event, putting up their $535 to play. They generated a sweet pot of $364,500.
81 players made some moolah in the event including Aaron Bartley. This is his second cash of the FTOPS X thus far. Bartley, known as GambleAB, first made his mark online and finished fifth at the World Series of Poker Circuit in Atlantic City in January 2005. He made bank in the first event of the series.
Also finishing strong in the event were online fixtures such as Colonel Mustard (61st place), DuckU (58th place), StuMan123 (36th place) and more. In the end, mrvogt defeated them all and took out runemowgli heads-up.
