Howard Lederer, the Professor, held a master class in No-Limit Hold’em on Sunday November, 9th 2008 at his online home, Full Tilt Poker. The World Series of Poker bracelet holder presided over a $300 + 22 buy-in tournament with a $1.5 million guarantee. 5,370 players entered the event including red Full Tilt pros Clonie Gowen and Berry Johnston, each of whom earned some cash for their efforts.
All tolled 738 players earned a piece of the tournament prize pool including ryanbluf (714th place), NoBadBeatsPlz (689th place), NeddyFlanders (624th place), JBlaze20 (432nd place), YoungSupremacy (318th place), P0KERPR0 (198th place), Stella05 (106th place), Cre8ive (11th place) and SN8WMAN (8th place).
xTheory and bigdogpckt5s made it all the way to heads-up play with the bigdog raking in the final pots and the nearly $300,000 first place prize.

Monday night Roland de Wolfe held court for the tenth event of the FTOPS X. The $322 Mixed Hold’em tourney boasted only 677 entries falling short of the guaranteed $250,000, meaning the site had to pay up … again. Julian Gardner finished 50th in the tourney, earning $675 back for Full Tilt and 90 players in all made any money whatsoever.
The final two players were MrMudd76 and --DONKEY1965--. MrMudd76 prevailed, pulling out the win and the $57,500 prize for first place.
